The Met Office Space Weather Operations Centre (MOSWOC) is one year old! Although MOSWOC forecasters had been producing space weather guidance for the past few years, the centre was officially opened by the UK’s Minister of State for Universities, Science and Cities in October 2014. There has been lots of work improving the service in the past year. Check out some highlights on the Met Office blog, including our work on the FLARECAST project, and images of recent auroral activity!
